hey guys, so the name of the thread pretty much says it all!
international students, what were your stats?
any Indian got accepted in Princetons EA?
also, is it like compulsory kinda thing to have a score above 2300+ ? i mean, is there any other person who had a score like between 2100-2300 who got accepted in Princeton(EA or RD- whatever)!!??
thanks :)

come onnn!! seriously?! BUMP BUMP BUMPPPP
guys, it wont hurt to share ur stats, and besides it will help many other Princeton-perspective students!! :

deferred international-present! :(

prospective students*

LOL i’m international and deferred too~ Maybe the accepted people are too busy celebrating

^pretty much think the same!! too busy celebrating! -_-
seeminglybrighnt and monkey- am sure ull end up at a pretty awesome place too! good luck! :)

BUMP BUMP BUMPPPPP X(

thanks rew- haha i’m actually curious about the accepted international stats too, since Princeton said 10% of the early admitted are international students, and I wonder how great they are to get accepted :D

Check out the Results thread, there are a few accepted International applicants there.
I’m International-Deferred too :/

Where are you guys from?

Another international deferree here!
I’m from Canada; the other person who applied from my school also got deferred

Vietnam, but I studied high school (IB) in Singapore None of my friends have been accepted early so far (to different schools), all deferred or rejected :(

As far as I know…everyone who applied from pakistan got rejected from Princeton…and everyone had BRILLIANT stats…Im the only one who got deferred. sigh

@seeminglybright oh that’s scary but doesn’t that give you that “edge” of being the only one applying from Pakistan in the RD round? well unless some other kids apply to Pton too, but still, since you’re deferred instead of rejected, I feel like u’ll have a higher-than-average chance of getting in in the RD round :D

I know four internationals from my school in Asia who were accepted. One has a gold in the International Physics Olympiad. Not sure about the rest.

All had SAT>2300, one had 2400, I think.

aah…
well, i did try searching the result thread, but its hard to find some int’ applicants stats there for almost all are from US itself
wow… no one from Pakistan?! thats strange… am sure all the accepted ones are so not gonna come here anymore! :
can someone tell me that whether all the people were scoring a 2300+ or smthng or were there some people who did have rather low score like 22ish?!
i second monkey with “seeminglybright” getting that edge in the RD! :)

hello there. Deferred Mexican here!

Not surprising though, my SAT scores were terrible: 2000.

Other than that, my extracurriculars are very strong though, so I still have some hope, haha

haha…Ive asked almost everyone…we’ve got 1 whose got into columbia…the rest were rejections all over…if it were all about scores Id be in already I had a 2400 in SAT1 and SAT2 and I have a 3 world distinctions in my GCE A levels…and my ECs were all on an international level. So I dont really know what they are playing at to be honest. :/

Accepted Nepali. Losers, stop back biting! I worked hard and got admitted. Plus, my parents have enough money to support my education. Just so that you guys know, I am not partying. I have my A level exams coming up and I am going to ace it. So long failures!

STOP BRAGGING. We all know you are up to no good. Just shut your mouth and go to obscurity.

Seeminglybright: by world distinctions for your A levels, you actually mean an award that says you are the best for A levels or something?

Well it means I had the highest grade achievable by anyone in the world for A levels. so yeah it is an award…you get a pretty nice certificate by the British council and so forth
Furthermore I had 12 A levels. and had A*s in all of them.
