International SAT 2011 December

@eatlovepray : I chose profound for lightning/lightning bug

yea, i think im wrong with manageable… cuz what i thought was that the difference between lightning and lightning bug is so obvious that it’s manageable to differentiate the two… but now that i think about it i think the answer has to go with something like profound or perplexing… the choices were like profound, perplexing, incomprehensible, manageable, and sth else

i got math experimental. yup there was a question about 7/10. some circle thing

does anyone remember the question from the museum passage
it was like what does the person in passage 2 think about the part in passage 1 that says, the museum showing the bones of tyranosaurus …

was it sth like risky ?

yup:) it was…

Length of diameter AB = 4root2? ( a circle that was half shaded)

@avconstant isn’t is perplexing? i eliminated it because i thought the passage didnt mean that.

@avConstant I got 8.

I think I got a writing exptal only. But still had the 7/10 shaded circle q!
There were two writing sections with 35 qs.

@ fluffynoly Yeah, precisely, I also put PROFOUND :slight_smile: :slight_smile: :slight_smile:
And yes again I also got stark sth.
@ avconstant if it is the one with the club or class or group, I also got 90.

@avconstant i didnt get 4root2, it was natual number something. I cant really remember.

i thought math was harder than usual this time… the curve should be more generous than usual :)

how was improving paragraph for you guys? i was hurrying towards the end. i made speedy choices

@iCookie i think math was easier than oct one.

that circle… i got 4 root 2 because the radius turned out to be sth like 2root2 so…

@Moonny Lightning bug = firefly
Lightning = well… lightning :stuck_out_tongue:
No relation whatsoever.
so the difference between them is huge / great / profound
high five everyone who wrote profound haha!

same i also put profound who else did that?

mehh. i love that word now. profound. imma use it everyday. hahaha

I don’t think I put risky.

iCookie: RIGHT! The area of half the circle was 4pi
therefore area of entire circle = 8pi
pi(r)^2 = 8pi
r = 2root2
therefore d = 4root2
