I'm an international student living in Asia and I was wondering when the prep schools typically inform the international students about their decisions. I know it's all going to be via email/online portals but I was wondering whether it would come at 12:00 am (EST) on the dot? If so, it would be 12:00 pm for us (12 hr difference) so I would probably check it during lunch at school. Thanks, guys! :)

the time varies

The schools don’t all have the same notification time. You should have received instructions via email or from their website on what time it will be (check your spam inbox).

Typically it doesn’t happen at midnight EST. The Admission staff are regular people with families-- they have a life. And they don’t want to keep domestic applicants up beyond midnight on a school night.

@GMTplus7 Thanks for your help! I’ll double-check my emails. BTW, only 2 of the schools I’ve applied to have sent me emails about how to access the admission results when March 10 comes (the username, password, how to access the portal, etc)- does that mean the other schools will just send me the results via email? THANKS!

Probably. That’s what we experienced for S1.

@GMTplus7 thanks for your help! I really appreciate it :-)
