Is there any hope for an international student (me) to get financial aid?
I am quite new to this financial aid thing so i am open to any suggestions

We need a LOT more info…

1) What are your stats? GPA and test scores?

2) What is your likely major?

3) How much can your family contribute?

4) Do your parents have a good income/assets?

ermm
i am not sure about GPA and stuff cuz i am from Malaysia==
my sat 1 score is Critical Reading 640 Math 660 Writing 530
my sat 2 scores are US history 580 Literature 650
i am considering majors in Journalism Business and Public Relations
my family? lets just say even a quarter of the total is a long shot
my family is financially stable but they will have problems covering the tuition and boarding fees

Okay, so what schools are you interested in over here? It’s rough getting financial aid from anywhere as an international student – especially if you need a lot of aid (most schools don’t even give money to international students, and the ones that do give them need-based aid are ones like Harvard, Yale, etc. – not really the schools you want to rely on getting into).

i am an international student living in U.S.
my unweighted GPA is 3.92 ish, PSAT score: 202
possible major in accounting or pre med
my family income is a little over 60,000 (with out taxes)
i am not a minority, and not first generation going to college.
I wonder if there are schools that will give me scholarship or full ride.
