I've heard that international students who are overrepresented such as Korea, China, and Japan have less chances. I'm a Korean, but I haven't lived in Korea for a long time. I've attended all my high school years in an international school in Kazakhstan. Am I still classified as someone from Korea if I have attended all my high school years in Kazakhstan?

Still Korean :).

Yeah obviously unless you have Kazakhstan citizenship, jake

Yes but your experiences in Kazakhstan will make you stand out from the Korean pool.
