You should be fine. Just make sure to do well on your SAT. Btw what’s your ranking? Even though you might not need financial aid, Purdue does offer some merit-based scholarships for incoming freshman.

my class is of 40 students…

ok, and do you know your ranking? If not, you should find out: You might be able to apply for some merit scholarships: [Purdue University - Merit_Scholarships](http://admissions.purdue.edu/costs/merit_scholarships.html)

If you can break 2000 on the SAT, you are in

You’re in! I didnt even send my SAT and I got in and I got below 1700 on my SAT. LOL.
And my GPA was around 2.75-3.00. I guess Purdue is very international student friendly. =D

true, it is pretty international student-friendly. In fact, I believe we have the 3rd largest international student population in the country.

However don’t let the easy admission fool you. Purdue is getting more strict on admissions. And if I remember correctly, approx 50% of all engineering students change their major/drop out before the end of their 2nd year.

Purdue remains one of the best engineering schools in the nation, and there’s a reason for it.

so with 1950 in sat can purdue be a safety?
