International student financial aid

So, I’m considering transferring from an English university (1st year) to Brown. But I’m worried about financial aid, I know Brown offers a lot for American students, but what about international ones? And would transferring be slightly harder, as I’m competing with other transfer students plus the normal applicants? I don’t really know much about this, hence my thread.

Any information is appreciated!

please, any help :)

If you searched the Brown website, you would have found your answers.

[Transfer Applicants - FA Policy | Financial Aid](Apply for Aid as a First-Year or Transfer Student | Financial Aid Undergradute | Brown University)

The number of transfer students accepted each year varies. Some years it’s more difficult than others to get in. Based on the web pages I just linked to, I’d say that as an international student who needs financial aid your chances are further reduced.

Brown is need aware for internationals, however , they still offer a lot of aid to internationals, much more than almost all US univs. You should definitely consider applying.

Actually chance for international applicants who requires FA is pretty low…but it all depends on how good you are.
