<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I am an international student looking for transferring to Brown. I just have a quick question about the financial aid system of Brown. I heard that it is need aware for all transfer students. Then, would it be more disadvantageous for any international students to apply the financial aid than the U.S. citizens or others such as Canadians and Mexicans? In the case of freshmen application, many schools that have need blind financial aid system for the U.S. citizens do not treat the international students in the same way, excluding HYP, Dartmouth, MIT and so on. How do u guy think about this?</p>

<p>I have never heard of an international student transfer into a top 10 university unless they had some form of US permanent residence (passport, green card, and the like) or were contracted by their country’s government. But someone please correct me, as international admissions is outside my experience.</p>
