I’m an international student from Asia but grew up in US including all 4 years of high school. Just to confirm, I don’t need to take the TOEFL or any other english proficiency test? Or are there any colleges that require it regardless because of the international status? I speak my native language at home but was never part of ESL or other language program.
I think it will be college by college, but just stay on top of it if you want a waiver. Get it in writing that you don’t need to take it.
Yes, you can check with each school, but generally students in your situation (grew up and went to school in the U.S.) do not have to take English proficiency tests.
