Do I have to take TOEFL???

<p>I'm considered as an international student since I live in America by visa, not green card (so im technically not a permanent resident)</p>

<p>I've been living in America for like 6 years since 6th grade. I am planning to attend all 4 years of high school in American High school. I scored 2330 on the SAT so doe that mean I don't really have to take TOEFL?? </p>

<p>Do some colleges require you to take TOEFL or is this enough?
If "yes", which colleges require you to still take language proficiency test even if you have good enough SAT score?</p>

<p>Generally, but not always, if the language of instruction at your high school is English, TOEFL is not required. However, each college sets its own guidelines, so check with them.</p>
