International student taking the March SAT

Hi all, I'm an international student from Korea and I'm considering going to America in March to take the March SAT. I've taken the SAT once before in November after studying in the summer and got like low-2100 on that. I had initially signed up to take the January SAT but I don't feel like I have enough prep time to do well on that. I don't want to take the SAT in May or June because of APs and SAT IIs. So now the only available date for me to take the SAT and make an improvement is March.

Do you guys think that's a good idea? At first I thought it would be easy to do well on Jan SAT as long as I study a lot over Christmas break, but there are just way too many books and tests for me to work through, and lately I just found out I'm worse than I thought at Writing. What do you guys think I should do? Please give me some advice or insight. Thank you so much.

If you’re from Korea and fly all the way to America in March to take the SAT, you will immediately come under suspicion of cheating and be flagged under College Board’s new ‘red-flag’ designation, a label designated solely for Korean students who show high-risk behaviors such as traveling abroad frequently to take the SAT. The scores of over 20 Korean kids who took the SAT in Guam in March of 2013 were cancelled, which is why nobody can take the March test in Guam or anywhere outside of the U.S. anymore. They were the ones who stole test sheets, used secret camera recorders to capture photos of the tests and smuggled the papers back into Korea. I certainly hope you don’t have similar intentions.

And how is it that you were able to take the test in November if you’re from Korea, as Korea no longer offers the SAT I in November?
