Im really confused my teacher who is making my letter of reccomendation told me that he does not need to give me the letter but that he has to wait until after I applied. He said that after I applied the college would send him an e-mail with a format to type the letter of reccomendation and that he would send it in then.

Is this correct? I thought I was the one that had to send everything together including the letters of reccomendation. help plz!!!!!

No - but if you are using the common app, then you put his name in the common app, and he gets the file. If you go to the common app, you might not see where to do it. You have to fill out certain parts before it shows up. Sorry to be so vague. You should really get going on this, though.

BTW, the letters go seperate from your application. Often schools allow them to come in later, but not too late. At some point, if you are missing parts of your application, then send you an email and give you a few days to fix any discrepancies.
