Hi, I'm a rising senior international student (foreign citizenship, moved to the U.S. at the beginning of junior year), and have a low CR score.
How will the colleges look at my CR score?
Does the fact I'm an international student taken into high consideration?

I wouldn't say 'high consideration'.

how do you define 'low CR score' and what is your score?
colleges definately do take your background history into consideration when it comes to SAT scores (in my knowledge).

did you attend a school of your nationality before you came to the US?
(meaning you seriously started learning english in the beginning of junior year). If yes, colleges will be generous on you.

However, the competition in the international pool is horrendous. As you might have seen in the international chance posts, their scores are top notch.

i agree with tlqkf2002.
Admission officers always mention how int'l students often score higher in verbal than native students. so it's almost no excuse now. if it's really low, they might wonder how you might handle the work at college.
not to discourage you or anything.. just work hard and it'll go up!!

Thanks for your advices:)
I actually went to an international school before I came to the states, so I don't think I would fit in that "highly considered" category...
My score was 630 (ew..), and I was actually aiming for 700+.
I'm thinking of retaking it in October, but I thought that it would look bad if my first scores were low, and then it suddenly increased.
What do you think?

it wouldn't look bad at all. After all, good students raise scores by hundred points, showing that they've worked.
