Hi,
I'm about to be Lehigh freshman this year. I'm Int student. I'll fly to the US on August 16, but the school only allows students to move in assigned rooms from August 20. It means that I have no place to stay during 4 days. So,Is there anyone who have the same problem as me? pls give me some advices. I'm very confused at this moment.
Thanks in advance.

I would contact international student office at Lehigh first. They may be able to arrange a host family for you during transition.

oh really, I will call them.. Thanks a lot..

Please report back what they say to you since I'm sure other international students may have similar problems.

Old post, but this will certainly be a problem for the OP. According to Lehigh Living (a publication each student gets every summer about moving in, etc), the earliest check in date is August 20th. "No check-in will be available prior to August 20." Check-in on the 20th is only acceptable if its been approved, and if you're approved you are expected to pay 25 dollars per night until regular check in day. For international students they might be able to make an exception. Most likely the OP will need to spend a few days in the Comfort Suites a couple blocks from campus.

still call the office. I'm sure they can help you.
