International Students - Proof of Financial Ability for International Admissions

Did any one of you, internationals, submit any financial forms/certificates to prove that you've got enough funds?

No. Stanford hasn't provided any such required forms for us to fill in. Won't it do so after an offer of admission?

Only two of the universities I've applied to asked for proof for fin. ability now. Most universities want proof after an offer is made, I think.

Stanford does ask for the Certification of Finances form BEFORE the decision is made.

where does it say that, perfectdark9?

tenniscraze, i know 2 sure tht stanford wants the COF b4 the decision is made, i dun quite remembr whr i read it (or mayb i mailed them n askd) but i send mine in early nov i think (i applied EA)...

perfectdark9: jus curious, where in pakistan r u from?

Financial Aid Filing Deadlines for International Students
Submit CSS Certification of Finances to Stanford Feb 1
Submit Declaration of Finances to Stanford’s Bechtel International Center As soon as you decide to attend Stanford

I believe that would be for aid applicants only. So if you're not applying for aid, I don't think it will be necessary until after you get your accept letter.
