Hi guys,
I am an international student from India who applied EA to Stanford. I have a few questions regarding the International Student Certification of finances.
Note : I have already submitted the CSS Profile.

If I am applying for aid, do I still have to submit the International Student Certification of finances? I mean I am applying for aid; that means I don't have enough funds to support all four years of education - so how can I certify otherwise? The data I enter on the form will obviously be insufficient to meet the entire cost, so won't that affect the visa process as well?

In case if I have to submit the ISCF, and if all my funds come from my parent's savings + earnings, will my parent's signature be sufficient or do I still have to get a bank official to sign the form?

In case if I have to get a bank official's signature, my parent's savings are in different bank accounts across different banks - so do I get different signatures from different banks?

Please help me ASAP. The deadline is just two/three (depends on where in the world you live) days away. Thank you.:)

1) If you are applying with Fin Aid, its understood that you lack the finances to support your college education. That is why you are applying for Aid in the first place. So YES, you would have to do the ISCF form. Stanford needs both ur CSS profile + ISCF. This has nothing to do with your visa application, so thats not a worry.

2) It is clearly stated: The bank official would have to certify the finances you report. You should approach your bank and ask them for your parent’s financial status. For some banks, they do not sign the ISCF form. Istead, they provide their own with their certification and signature. Attach that form with the ISCF form.

3) Yes, you would need to attach all the bank statements with ur ISCF form and fax it over to Stanford University

Well I believe indian monster explained it pretty well and I don’t have much more to add, but I am wondering what does your username anuragsomani mean? lol I ask because my first name is Diivanand and I’m Indian by ethnicity, even though I was born in Michigan.
