Hi guys, I have already submitted the CSS profile but someone told me I had to submit the “International student certification of finances” as well. Is this certification obligatory or is it enough to submit the CSS profile on its own? Thanks a lot!
Yes, you do have to fill out that form too. It is clearly stated under applying for financial aid for international students:http://financialaid.stanford.edu/undergrad/apply/new.html click under:http://financialaid.stanford.edu/pdf/IntlCertFin16.pdf
It is due by Feb. 15, 2015. Good luck!
Thanks a lot!
I haven’t received any notification to fill that form in? Now, I’m very worried. I filled in the CSS Profile weeks ago, and have uploaded documents to IDOC. But nowhere does it ask me to upload this? What do I do?
I’m from the UK if that makes any difference at all.
I believed that only international students have to fill that form. If you uploaded IDOC, that would probably mean you are an U.S. applicant. So don’t worry?
I am international! But another college I’m applying to required IDOC!
@TheAnnabelle. Stanford has different requirements for non-Canadian internationals and they have different requirements than other schools. Please read what I posted earlier in the thread. Since you are from UK you need to have submitted the CSS and International Student Certification Of Finances. If they needed anything else they would have let you know.

If you have any further questions…please call the financial aid office for clarification.
Okay, thank you! I have filled in the CSS profile but competely did not realise this second form…doing it now.
I assume that it’s sent/faxed directly to Stanford? I don’t have a fax machine…
(Since it’s not appearing as a requirement on iDOC…)
