international studies/relations

<p>Hi, i am looking for schools that have a strong international relations or international studies program. could any of you offer suggestions for safeties, matches, and reaches preferably for schools on the east coast or at least eastern half of the u.s. here's some info to help.</p>

<p>Math: 610
CR: 680
Writing: 780</p>

<p>won a study trip to germany through national german exam
am taking an online course through stanford for japanese studies
taking hardest course load available at a rather pathetic public high school
some activities: mun, nhs, 100ish community service hours, numerous gifted program activities</p>

<p>any suggestions for schools that offer a lot of financial aid would be especially helpful because my family doesn't have much in savings.</p>

<p>Look at American University. They have a great IR program in DC and your have a really good shot.</p>

<p>Best IR Schools in the country: (Note, obviously some other schools not on the east coast could arguably be placed in this list as well, but the OP wanted east coast)</p>

<p>Georgetown - reach
Tufts - reach
Johns Hopkins - reach
Princeton - high reach
George Washington - match
American - low match</p>

<p>There is also: Columbia, Syracuse, Vassar, and a few others on the east which have great programs, but the ones listed have great undergrad IR as well.</p>
