I'm currently a second semester freshmen and i'm wondering if I should get an internship in the city over the summer. Wondering if it plays a factor when I apply to colleges to xfer for Junior year or it really doesn't matter? Thank you very much :)

bumpppppp please anyone?

It would look good, definitely. But you might want to hurry up or all the decent ones will be taken.

I think if you can find one and it’s good, go for it. If you can’t, don’t worry about it. I don’t know if it will matter too much for transferring or not. I think they’ll care about your grades more. Depends on the school of course.

It probably depends what type of internship you can get, and what you want to study in college. For example, would it make sense to get a campaigning internship (like city council?) if you’re planning on going premed?

Figure out how you want to use your time.
