Hi all, I'm pretty new to this forum. I currently attend Northeastern University (CPS-online program) due to the fact that I work full-time in another state where I reside as an accounting clerk. I slacked off during highschool (never even took the SATs) because I was naive enough to think I was never going to college. Well here I am... finishing a 5 year degree (Finance & accounting management) into 2 years and I got 1 year to go at the same time working full-time. Though I have experience of 3 years as an accounting clerk, I want to spruce up my resume and get some internships before or right after I graduate.

Now my question is, what are the typical requirements? Will they need my highschool GPA and SAT score (Never took SAT and highschool GPA is about 2.0)? As far as college goes, I've been on the Dean's list ever since I started, have a 4.0 GPA and aiming to graduate as a summa cum laude. What are the chances that I can get into internship programs such as SEO, Citigroup, IBM and etc?

Any suggestions on how I can land these internships?

Is it possible to do these internships part time? 15-20hrs a week?

Also, how do I notify my employer that I want to do an internship therefore would need my hours to be reduced for a certain amount of time? I don't want to quit my job considering I'm pretty much on my own and rely on this income for bills.
