Internship Question?

Hi, I’m a rising senior and I’m having trouble deciding on whether I should commit to another internship this summer or not. I’ll be applying to several highly competitive, prestigious schools in the fall, and have already interned at a luxury end vehicle sales department, the financial department of a hotel conglomerate, and in the financial department of a sports federation. I have also attended college prep programs in the summer, and am feeling COMPLETELY burned out. I wanted to spend this summer with my friends but I got an offer from the branch of a national bank in the Middle East.

Will taking this internship significantly affect my chances of admission (even though I would probably be miserable for three weeks) or should I just choose to spend time with my friends and have fun?

Taking the internship will not be the deciding factor in your application. I think you know what you want to do- relax and have a little fun before senior year. My advice is to politely decline, and rest before senior year begins, becuase you will be facing a lot of work with college apps in the fall.

I agree. I think you should relax, maybe you can take an online class or something but make sure to enjoy your summer too.

I am having a hard time taking this post seriously, so, go have fun whoever you are.
