Intertwining Bioengineering with Business

Hi everyone,

I want to study both bioengineering ( or biomedical science) and business, but I’m unsure on how to achieve that. If I pursue a Master of Science degree in bioengineering, can I still get a minor in business? Or should I double major in bioengineering and business? If I double-major and I don’t get a job in one area, I can always fall back on my other major, correct? Or perhaps I should major in business and minor in a bioengineering-related field. I want to start my own technology-based company that develops effective solutions to treat various medical problems that face our society.

P.S. If I decide to do a joint-degree program (which is really interesting me as of the moment) and attain a MBA, can I pursue a MS in bioengineering in graduate school. I’m asking because I’m not sure if you have to complete your undergrad studies in bioengineering before studying bioengineering in grad school.
