I have my Dartmouth alumni interview in 3 hours. The interview is at his home. What should I wear? Any ideas? Thanks! :D

a buttoned down shirt and nice slacks...i dont think a tie is necessary.

and if you're a girl...a blouse and formal pants or a skirt.

good luck!

Thanks! I'm a guy, for future reference. :p

I agree with Cardinal's advice, but keep in mind that not all interviews are semi-formal. I dressed in a blouse and formal pants, and my interviewer was dressed in something that resembled her pajamas.

How do you define "slacks?" I've heard many different variations...

jeans and a T

i say take a pair of binoculars and get there an hour early, also take every piece of clothing you own. try to look in and see what they are wearing, and adjust your appearance to match theirs.
nvm, that seems a little creepy. i wore a polo+vest and dress slacks and shoes to my interview yesterday. it was the first time i actually learned about a school from the interview. it was pretty sweet, and now i love dartmouth. im glad i had an interview, even if it didnt go so well, because now i feel i really know the school.
good luck!

Thanks, everyone! The interview went really well. I learned a lot about Dartmouth, and I am thinking much more seriously about it now. Thanks! :)
