Interview today!

I'm so nervous. How should I dress up? Do I need to give resume to my interviewer? What questions will she ask?

my interviewer was really laid back, dress business casual, know "why duke" and why did u do some actvitiies...ask questions

I have an interview today as well. It'll be my first college interview....

Mine went short and sweet. It was really really short-15 minutes. Is this bad? I thought the interview went well; in fact, my interviewer told me that Duke will be a great place for me and that I'll be happy there. I'm just worried about the length. Btw, pdesai06, good luck! Tell me how it went too.

I have an interview Tuesday, he's meeting me at my school and it's only an hour after I get out. Should I dress business casual or just go in what I wore to school?

Is it bad that my interviewer didnt take my resume? Or even write anything down about me? My interview was an hour long.

Phew...I'm still alive after the interview today. It wasn't bad at all. She was very nice and she asked questions about my ECs, and my personality. She also talked a lot about her experiences there, and she told me more about Duke. Heybucs, my interviewer was dressed casually, but I had dressed up in a skirt, shirt and jacket. It's better to be overdressed than underdressed. That way they'll know that you took some time to pretty yourself up for this interview. Hairypotty, my interviewer also told me that Duke would be a great place for me. So I'm not really sure what that means. JMAN1211, my interviewer didn't write anything down either. Mine was about an hour and 15 mins long (because I asked her about her experiences which took up some time). So anyway, good luck guys!

hairypotty, my interview was the exact same length last year. I was probably a lot more nervous than you, though, because I had two interviewers! Also, it was at Starbucks, and I don't drink coffee. :(

JMAN, many interviewers wait until after the interview is over to write a report- my U Chicago interviewer did that. It makes students less nervous. :)
