<p>So I emailed my EC on monday and got a response monday night that he wanted to meet on the 27th at 2. I was volunteering that day until 1 so I asked if we could reschedule the interview for an hour or half an hour later and then apologized for the inconvenience. I havent gotten a response yet. Do you think I should've just foregone the volunteering thing and gone? was it rude of me to ask to reschedule? The volunteering thing is part of my culminating project for high school so I can graduate...how long should i wait before contacting him again and what should I say?</p>
<p>Nope, not rude to ask to reschedule. He probably got the response and forgot to reply – I know that for me, if I don’t reply to an email right away, I’ll totally forget about it.</p>
<p>Wait until a week after you responded, then reply to the email again (with your second reply in the email chain), asking politely if he’s had a chance to see your original reply.</p>
