After hearing about some messups in interviews or a lack of proper information, I just wanted to share a story of my ED interview. I was supposed to go to this woman's house to get an interview. She said that she would leave her door open so that I would recognize this. Instead of carefully looking at the number of the house that she gave me, I immediately walked into the house with the door open. As it turned out, this was the wrong house. Some woman started screaming and grabbed for the phone. I tried telling her who I was and who I wanted to see, and she started to calm down upon hearing the name. So after being threatened to be arrested, I walked to my interviewer who got a real kick out of my explanation for being late. Funny thing was that I was accepted. I hope this makes your interview messups look not as bad as mine :) . If you also have a humorous or interesting interview story, please share it :) .

haha, that is hilarious

wow that's awesome...makes a spelling mistake seem minor, except that your mistake really is harmless unless of course she had beaten you with a club or something :D

whoa maybe if she beat you with a club cornell would have given youd discount tutition. Kinda like that principle where if you get hit by a car or something on campus they give you free tuition (rumor maybe?)

Wow, it's quite a story. It's pretty unprofessional for your interviewer to made such an arrangement. He/she should really meet you at a public place instead of a private residential home.

the only bad thing that happened during my interview was the fire alarm went off. =)
