do you think anythign will be diffferent than what i would face with an alumni interview? im a bit scared because i heard it is much more formal....
give me some tips.. interview tomorrow in mahattan , ny!

Do you know for a fact you have the director? In most cases a professor conducts the interview on-campus, but I don't think you can find out who it is in advance. I had the Dean of Admissions for the Hotel School and he was amazing. It is much better for your chances if you're attending the on-campus interview, so you're definitely doing the right thing. Just dress appropriately, be confident, and clearly express your interest in attending a college so focused on the hospitality industry.

Yes.. E-mail from Cornell actually specified that an interviewer is a director of admissions .... thanks for the tip... i need alot of luck tomorrow hehe

holy crap dude...that's probably the most important interview period. Not to make you nervous, but that's the person that has the most influence over your admission decision out of anyone. That sharply contrasts with the standard alumni interview.

Well, best of luck to you.

Good luck!!! Let me know how it goes. If we had the same interviewer, I'm sure you had a great time talking to him. (Personally I thought he was the nicest guy ever, and so knowledgable about hospitality.) :)

his name was mr.Walp and he was really nice .. i really enjoyed talking to him

Yup, that was who I had too. He definitely has the most pull of anyone. I got in, so hopefully you will too! :D

oh may i ask you for your stat?
you dont have to give it out if you dont want to

I posted them on here a few times... if you look back in my posts you should find it. If not PM me and I'll look myself.
