I just scheduled an interview with a traveling admission's rep for Reed College (my reach/dream college) and I am wondering if any of you folks have any tips for me. They said to dress casual and only bring myself so it seems pretty laid back, but how should I compose myself? What sorts of questions should I be prepared to answer? etc.

Please post your experiences and tips!

and how much does the interview even matter?

Yes, dress casually, but other than that it doesn’t matter much what you wear (but if your wear a suit or expensive dress, they might wonder if you’d fit in at Reed!). It’s easy to say and sometimes hard to do, but relax. Don’t be pretentious. They just want to chat, get to know you. But, interview is important at Reed, in the sense of determining if you are a good fit for each other. Have a few questions ready.
