<p>Ok so I just started to freak. I've had interviews with Yale and Vanderbilt and even had a one for Duke though I technically wasn't eligible (I missed the deadline). However I have yet to be contacted about one for Vassar, how bad should I be scared?</p>
<p>Try calling the admissions office, i received notification of an interview about 2-3 weeks after submitting. I actually just had mine fairly recently and it went very well.</p>
<p>At least as of the Fall of 2010, Vassar did not require interviews and they are informational only.</p>
<p>My daughter has not been contacted for an interview yet, either. It may be that they don’t have any alumni interviewers in your area. That’s what I’m assuming in her case. It’s not going to affect you negatively to not have an interview, don’t worry.</p>
<p>It took about 2 weeks for an alumni to contact me after submitting that interview request form, but i should note that I applied ED1. I too, got worried that no one would contact me before the deadline and I even emailed the admin office to let them know I have yet to be contacted from an alumni. They told me that theres a long process to pair up prospective students with alumni in your are and its normal to wait a few weeks before being contacted. So I’m sure you’ll hear from someone in the upcoming days. Good Luck!</p>
<p>My interviewer first contacted me during the super bowl. So nobody worry, alumni are still offering interviews if you applied for one.</p>
