have any of you applying ED had your interview yet, or been contacted about scheduling one?

Where are you located?

Connecticut

You should have heard from an alumni rep by now if you are ED1 because the reports are due back to Vassar by Dec. 2nd. I would call the admissions office tomorrow and say that you are an ED1 who has requested an interview and have not been contacted yet. They should be able to help.

what about reg decision interviews?

All alumni interviews for Vassar go through a volunteer network managed by Vassar clubs in various locations. The bigger cities have more active, organized clubs--i.e. NYC, Boston, LA, San Fran, Hartford, Philly, etc. If you are in a remote location such as Wyoming there may not be a club or an alumni rep who does interviews. ED 1 interviews are usually done first because the deadline is obviously sooner. ED 1 reports are due this Sat. ED 2 comes next and Reg. applicant interviews are due back at Vassar in February. If you have requested an alumni interview and are ED1 and have not heard from anyone, call Vassar tomorrow. If you are ED2 or Regular there is time but many times the alumni rep will call to set one up way before the deadline. The deadline for ED2 interview reports back to Vassar is Jan. 20th and Feb. 29th for regular. The clubs know these dates but it gives you an idea of when you should hear from someone at least a few weeks ahead of the deadline. If you have not heard by January 1st for ED2 or Reg. I would also call Vassar. Sometimes things get messed up with the administration. I think it makes you look good if you follow through. Just a suggestion.

DD got call yesterday afternoon and did interview in the evening, so all is well
