<p>dont sweat it too much. the interview helps add something to your app...but i doubtit would ever be a deciding factor..and they're not going to penalize you for not having it. they just look at what you have...not look at what you dont have. so dont sweat it</p>
<p>Could you possibly call your EC tonight and ask if it's possible to set up the interview, explaining your misconception? Most of them are probably very reasonable people, and you're only one day from the deadline.</p>
<p>I mean, the interview isn't absolutely critical, but it does provide another perspective on you as a person which is often helpful to the admissions committee, and people with interviews do get admitted at a higher rate than people without.</p>
<p>hmmm... well, maybe you can call your EC and beg. I don't want to worry you too much, but honestly an interview makes an enormous difference (the admission rate for students with one is over twice that of others).</p>

<p>Definitely call the EC asap! Many of them will still do the interview past the deadline.</p>
