I am interested in knowing if anyone has experience with the non- evaluative interviews for admissions. I’m deciding whether or not to sign up for one but don’t exactly know what will take place. Thanks for any input

My son did the interview–it’s a no-stress situation. it’s a chance for you to find out more about AU to see if the school offers things you want in your education/environment, and gives the admissions rep a sense of what you might add to the campus with your presence.

My daughter did one of those. Like boysx3 says… it is pretty casual. My daughter found it to be less of an interview and more of a chance for the AU admissions person to pitch AU. She did a lot more listening than talking and felt she couldn’t get a word in most of the time. But it probably helped that she did it because it was an opportunity for her to express interest in AU and AU is big on expressed interest.

I concur with everyone else. it helps how your interest in the school.

Thanks everyone for your advice/ information. I’m going to go sign up for one now
