So I just got this email from my regional rep: “I wanted to let you know that I will be in [city] from [dates], to conduct non-evaluative informational interviews. This is a great opportunity for us to learn more about you, and for you to get your questions answered about American University.”

So is it non-evaluative or is it an opportunity to tell them more about myself? I feel like I know enough about the school to not really need an informational interview (I did the day trip last year where I sat in on a class and had a hosted lunch and I think it gave me a really great feel for the school), but if it can at all be to my advantage in the application process I may as well go. Do you guys think it’s worth it? Does anyone know the role (if any) that interviews play in the admissions process?

Thanks for your feedback :)
