Anybody have advice for interviews? Are UChicago interviews a little harder (do they ask more creative questions) or is it just the run of the mill things?

For my interview, the UChicago alumni and I had a philosophical discussion that was extremely deep and weird. We covered topics ranging from inflatable boobs (would you have to deflate them in-flight due to pressure?) to gang initiations and Cornell assaults.
They also asked me about UChicago alumni (just a few), and I had no idea who they were…
They didn’t ask questions about me, it was more like a conversation/finding out about the school.
Good luck.
D’s U.Chicago interview was also a bit unusual. The interviewer was a PhD candidate in Philosophy asking my D what she thought she might do with a U.Chicago degree. I think the irony of the question escaped him
To interview do you have to contact an alum or will they contact you?
Kinglime, interviews are not required, so you have to set one up through the admissions office yourself by requesting an interview.
