my Duke rd interview is in less than a week! what kind of stuff do they ask you? what should i wear? help! i feel so unprepared..

Don't worry too much about it...just don't insult the interviewer, say semi-intelligent things, be friendly, and I'm sure you'll do fine. In fact, I didn't interview at all and I still got in. To my other interviews, however, I wore khakis and a nice sweater.

its very informal still dress nice but its a relaxed conversation where they just try to know u not stump you. it's to help you not hurt you.

it depends on the interviewer. i didn't have one for duke, but, for example, my yale interviewer was pretty intense. he asked me how to solve the malpractice insurance crisis and how to stop overcrowding... "uh, kill babies?". I was nervous enough so I didn't do so well.

yea, actually, my yale interviewer was an economist and asked me about the "theory of the firm" even though i hadn't taken econ..then he asked me advanced physics questions even though i hadn't taken honors physics since like sophomore year lol

I'm applying RD but didn't send the first part of the app in early enough to get an interview. Will this hurt me? Duke is my top choice now and I didn't want to send the Part 1 before cuz I hadn't visited campus and all, so now should I contact my regional officer and tell him/her about my situation?
Thanks.

no, I don't think you have to... last year I didn't even know about the interview deadline thing and never got an interview and it didn't seem to matter.

ok, thanks man.
