has everyone who is scheduled for an interview submit their app by dec 1 because i did and i have not find out about any interview scheduled for me!

bump!!!! bumpity bump

I sent all my stuff in november, and they received my teacher recs on Dec 5th. I just got called today about the interview, although I wasn't home at the time.

I wouldn't worry-a request should be coming soon....I submitted my app around Nov. 1st and just got an email requesting an interview less than a week ago

I've sent my application in late-October. However, I haven't received an e-mail yet for an interview nor have I received a call. I suppose I'll just keep waiting.

I turned mine in on november, and was contacted by email that i "had been assigned an interview" and they will call me soon. But if they don't im supposed to email back or something by january

I submitted my app 6 days after December 1st. And I'm in an area FULL of harvard applicants. And uhhh I got contacted on December 16th, 10 days after I submitted my app. Weird how that works.

I submitted my app on Dec. 10 and was contacted for an interview about three weeks later. Keep in mind that some areas do not have interviewers or applicants from large metropolitan may not get a chance to interview due to tight scheduling.

Don't worry. I submitted my application in october and JUST got called for an interview.

I sent in my application a couple days before Dec. 1st, and I still haven't been contacted for an interview.

I think it depends on where you live and the availability of interviewers. I submitted my application on Dec 1, and had my interview on Friday.

I just sent my app in Dec 28 (yeah, i suck) and i got an email from my interviewer on Jan 2.

i accidentally missed my interview and ave no number to call & contact!! :/ what to do!?

The Harvard Club of San Francisco just sent me an e-mail for interview RSVP, as well as an interview form! The ball is rolling for my fellow San Franciscans! c:

If you live, let's say, in the middle of no where, will they at least email you to tell you that there is no one local to interview you? (Or are you just supposed to put the pieces together?)

If you are truly in the middle of nowhere, as in any major city is 4+ hours' drive away, they will probably at least try to set up a phone interview with you. I live 30 minutes away from a city with Harvard grads, I just had to drive there, no biggie. I think if you're within reasonable driving distance from anyplace an interviewer could meet you, they prefer to meet face-to-face.

Regarding the original topic, I turned in my app Nov. 10th, got emailed on Dec. 15th, and had my interview last Thursday.

question: I live 45 minutes from Harvard campus, is it a possibility that my interview will be conducted on campus? yikes! that's even more intimidating! I haven't been contacted since I submitted the app 12/31!!

I sent my app in November and have yet to be contacted, I wouldn't worry about it, it all depends on the interviewer.

^It definitely depends on the interviewer.

I had my interview today (sent mine before Dec 1). The guy said that he received my name from Harvard in mid December, but in OK, there was such a mess with the ice storms and holidays. So, he contacted me in January instead.

i accidentally missed my interview and ave no number to call & contact!! :/ what to do!?"

Contact Harvard admissions.
