Int'ls compete in int'l pool?

I used his review for World History, visited KMLA for the June SAT and saw him there. How many students get into top schools from minjok per year?

Hey I might have seen you then, especially if you came up to the cafeteria - I took SAT II in June, so it must have been one of the few days when I have breakfast.

Anyway, of 28 graduates last year who went abroad(including 4 early graduates), 12 went to Ivies+MIT+Caltech. The rest went to other top tier schools, like Oxford, Duke & Chicago. I believe the SAT average hovered around 1500. IMO, this year's seniors are a stronger lot, but there are 45 of us going broad, so competition's gonna be pretty tough.

I graduated from TCIS. Last year there was 1 MIT, 3 Duke, 3 Cornell, 1 Chicago.

JW Lee last year got into caltech, right? He was a CCer and had fantastic ECs and jaw-dropping scores (several 800s and 790s on IIs). Got rejected from EVERYWHERE except caltech! That gave me the creeps...

Yeah, he's a good friend of mine. His case just proves how rough things are in the Korean pool, even with a US citizenship (which he had).
