Hi i just got in ED to SCRIPPS!

any students at Scripps want to tell me how life is at Scripps?

I CANNOT WAIT!

I just got in too!

where are you from swellseason???

HOORAY! I got in too!! I’m from Seattle! This is so exciting!

YAY! I’m from Chicago!

Hahaha. Yay! Scripps is awesome. I love it, most times. I overloaded this last semester by taking five classes… so finals week I really wasn’t feeling the love. But now I’m getting ready to go to Copenhagen for study abroad, so I’m excited and actually really grateful that I won’t be the only Scrippsie on my program!

I’m kind of nervous to come to Scripps next year but so excited! Was it easy to make friends Eternal Icicle?

I found that it was really easy to make friends. Everyone (for the most part) leaves all their friends behind to go to Scripps, and so people are very keen to meet and make friends at the very start. I’m not even involved in many on-campus groups, and I feel like I have a huge number of friends and friendly acquaintances and a smaller very close group of friends who were all my neighbors first year. I met people through the class of 2012 facebook group, during orientation and in my dorm. There’s also an optional Outdoor Orientation, which is a week of camping before regular orientation starts. Like at summer camp, you form really close bonds, but unlike summer camp, you get to stay with those people for the next four years.

I visited Scripps again today because I was out visiting family in California! Even though no one was on campus, I just smiled because I know I made the right decision! I also bought my first scripps sweatshirt and tshirt! Yay so happy!
