My ultimate goal is to work in PE and am trying to land an internship but they traditionally don't take undergraduates which makes it nearly impossible. Now I am looking to get good experience in IB to make the transition to PE easier after i graduate or after i get my MBA.

Submitting my resume and cover letters week after week seems like i'm dropping them into a bottomless pit and competing with the business school kids is quite frankly annoying, especially with my gpa being low for IB.

How would a student in my position leverage himself into a solid internship in IB, even if it is for a smaller boutique?
