<p>2010 is correct. NASS and CVW are different, but complimentary, ways to learn about life as a plebe/mid. Neither is a guarantee of admission and, if possible financially, you should do both. </p>
<p>I've seen mixed comments on whether you are evaluated during CVW. You are during NASS. Regardless, CGO recognizes that those reviews are written by 18- to 20-year-olds. Thus, standing alone, neither is likely to have a negative impact unless something very odd happens during either event. However, if those reviews are consistent with what your teachers and BGO says . . . different story.</p>
<p>Also, the PURPOSE of NASS and CVW is NOT to evaluate you. USNA may take that opportunity b/c it presents itself, but the purpose is to give you a taste of what life at USNA is like and, in the case of NASS, to recruit.</p>
