I'm a candidate for admission to the USNA, and I recieved an invitation to spend a weekend at the USNA. I'll follow a midshipmen around and stuff, but does this mean that I have a good chance to get it? My regional director said only select candidates were invited. Should I be prepared for a surprise interview or what?

Have you even looked at the other threads regarding this topic? No you will not be whisked away for a surprise interview while you are there. The CVW is for your benefit and it is a chance to see the Academy while the whole Brigade is going about their normal routine.

Did you already finish your application?

It's a positive indicator. CVW invites are not extended to individuals already determined to be unsatisfactory candidates.
