I want to major in exercise science or something similar to that. I want to go to a school that is not boring and will always have something to do. I like to party and do carzy things. I want to play club or intermural women's basketball. I also enjoy running. I want to have school spirit and go to sporting games. The money does not matter since they both gave me money. I do not want to worry about getting in Trouble helppppppp which School?

“I do not want to get in TROUBLE”

What does that mean?

It sounds as of you’re more concerned about getting in trouble because you like to “party and do crazy things” than which school will be best for you in terms of your education. Please clarify so we can help.

Iowa has way cracked down on drinking and shenanigans in the dorms. My son heard that they collected over $140,000 in dorm fines his freshman year (he’s a sophomore). I think they told us at orientation the fine in the dorm for alcohol or marijuana was $700. The fine for getting a PAULA (underage possession) in town is $330. Plenty of kids at Iowa are drinking and carrying on but plenty of them are getting caught too, if getting in trouble is a concern for you. At my other son’s school, they are much more lenient with a three strikes policy.

i do want to get a good education. I am concerned about both the social life and education. I just though that the education was similar for both schools so I wanted to know more about the atmosphere and the kind of students at the school. If the education is different I would be interested in hearing about that too.
