Ipod Nano.

How many of you have one of these? I am planning to get the 1GB one for 149.99. Do you think it is worth it?

I wouldn't trust myself with that tiny thing. My mini takes enough abuse as it is. 149.99 is a little steep for 1GB, but they're freaking cool.

its very tiny, too tiny for me. i love my mini, even if it does die every 5 seconds. ipods are amazing. i really want a video one.

I love mine. I traded my brother my old scratched 3g iPod for his nano. It's tiny, but I have an iSkin on it and usually try to be pretty careful. I think its definitely worth it for 150. Also, make sure to get the student discount if you buy it from Apple!

I personally think that the new video ones are better. They are more expensive, but there is more memory, more features, and video capabilities. Also, it fits nicely into your hand, while I find that the Nano is too small for my big hands.

they do scratch fairly easily...but go with the 4 gig for 250...100 dollars more, 4x the space...you'll be disappointed when you find that 250 songs just isn't enough and that you could've had 1k songs for 100 dollars more

if you have the money go for it, im satisfied with my 2 gig nano

its not worth it. a 1gb sdcard (smaller than a nano), goes for less than 100

i got a nano w/ 500 songs for my birthday. even though it is small if you take care of it you'll be fine. it scratches easily, but im happy. i think its worth the money

NANOTechnology!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I absolutely love my nano! I don't think the 1GB is really worth it the 149.99, however. Mine is 4GB, but I think its worth every penny. When I look at my friends' old iPods, I just cannot imagine having one of them instead of the nano. Really, its the size that makes the nano so amazing. Its incredibly lightweight and fits in your pocket.

As for the "scratches too easily" issue, I've had my white nano since Christmas, and there are no scratches on the front. The black might scratch more easily, but if you handle it carefully, and buy a simple case for it, you shouldn't have a problem.

Everybody NAN-now

They're pretty neat. I have the video one, so when I saw the nano I couldn't help thinking the screen was kind of small. Asides from that, I think you should go for 4GB nano. That way, if you gain more songs, you won't be kicking yourself for getting a smaller capacity.

I'm supposed to get a 2 GB white iPod nano for Christmas. I still haven't received it yet.

I need to get a new iPod because my mini (the old one, in green) is dying. Right now, I get less than one hour of listening on the battery. I thought about getting the 4 gig nano, but realized that for only $50 more I can get the 30 gig video. Even if I won't use all that space it's still a much better value. Now I just have to wait for Starbucks to get back to me about my application...

I have a 2 gig nano and it is absolutely perfect. I couldn't come up with 200 songs if I tried, never mind 500 so it's not too little space for me. It is so compact, lightweight, and I don't have any scratching problems per se, and I don't have a case. Go for it!

I know this sounds silly, but one of my main issues with the nano is that the headphones are attached at the bottom instead of the top. I know it's because of the screen, but it still bothers me!

Honestly, I hate the headphones themselves, but I lost my mp3 player with the headphones, so I have no replacement.

I thought about getting a nano- but its way too small. I'd probably break it. I really want a photo one though. I'm thinking about buying one this summer.

Except that like...you need a player to use that card with.
