Pros of an IPOD

I'm considering getting an IPOD nano 2G. If you own an IPOD, what are the pros of having one?

They're so damn cute!

What color is your's? I'm thinking of getting the special edition red one that will benefit AIDS in Africa. But, they are so expensive!!!

I'd love to get the red one as well, but I'm holding out for the new video pod. =D

The nanos are so cheap now, I'm thinking about getting one of the older editions. Do you think I should purchase the older version?

they are niiice...and they are small and can fit in your pocket so you can take it to school and not worry about it getting stolen because you dont hav tp put it in your purse or anythhing

If you're going to buy one, buy it on Ebay.

Nano.

2GB equals to about 30 albums.

If that's fine with you, then I don't see any problem.

Get a bigger iPod. I have so much music it wouldn't fit on the 2g. I have the 30gb and I LOVE IT. Definitely get an iPod tho, any kind and you will love it.

A HUGE oft overlooked pro:

You can buy music off of iTunes and know with complete certainty that it will work with your hardware

negative- getting your face slashed.

how can an ipod slash your face?

if you have the video one you can watch movies and play games.

What about the Creative Zen anybody? In some cases, its a better deal than the iPod, and you have full control over your music files without having to resort to some shady program to handle that for you.

You can run with it without it skipping because of its flash-something technology.

Vail,

The only problem is that you may have problems with music bought off iTunes...if that bothers you.

Even though they are known to break, the service is still excellent. I love going to the Genius Bar at the apple store.

UCLAri, that's true if you've already got music off of iTunes, I don't know of the OP does or doesn't.

I take it the latest version of iTunes doesn't allow the burning of songs to a CD then...

Vail,

It does. But it automatically changes the file types to CD type.

who buys music these days? :D
