Ipod or Ipod Shuffle??

Creative Zen - small screen, ugly scroll, but most of all it just doesn't have a sleek design.

Yeah, I am going; however, they give Ipods out to everyone in the Class of 2008 as method of testing how they used it in classes and what not.

For our class, unfortunately, they have scaled back the project. This year they will be distributing Ipods to students who are taking certain classes. The students still retain the Ipod once the class is over.

so if i have songs already downloaded from somewhere else can i put them on my ipod??

Yes, unless they're in wma format, in which case you have to convert it to something apple recognizes, like its proprietary thing or mp3.

collegeboundkorean, I would get the normal iPod. The new 20 gig that just came out has a color screen and it's still $299. You can get it for $269 though if you just use this link:

The discount applies to college/university students and grades K-12 teachers/staff members. My mom works at a school so I got a discount...however, they didn't even check if I was telling the truth. So even if you're not any of the above...you can still get that $30 discount heh.

Hey now .. don't diss my creative. I plan on getting one .. check out the new Creative Zen Neeon .. now thats hot and sleek for ya ;)

Go to the 360 view and look at those brilliant colors

IMO the only thing separating the two is a small difference in price, great difference in capacity and decent difference in size. Per song, the regular ipod is much cheaper than the shuffle. Yes, the shuffle is smaller than the ipod, but the regular one is small enough to fit into most all pockets. My ipod came with a case and a clip, so its stays onto my clothes when I have no pockets. I can only see someone buying a shuffle for three reasons: 1)cant afford the regular 2)thinks the size difference is really that important 3)is one of those people that buys everything new from Apple.

I never get why some people act like the iPod Shuffle revolutionized the way we listen to music. The shuffle feature was always there on the regular ipod. If you want to know that every song is good just make a playlist.
