Ipod?

What do you guys think of the "Creative" mp3s? Readytoleavehs, how much did you save from the "used" Ipod you bought from bestbuy and can you view the "used" ones online or do you have to go see them in person at the store?

My sister bought a new apple laptop and got her ipod for $50 more.. so if you are looking to save on an ipod there are good deals out there, especially if you need a good new computer. (apple bias haha)

thx cncl ^_^

Cornell2009Hotelie- in iTunes with iPod connected...

Edit->
Preferences->
iPod tab->
check "Manually Manage Songs and Playlists" under the 'Music' tab
(You probably have "Automatically Update" checked now, which is why it seems to have a mind of its own when you plug in your iPod.)

Let me know if this helps... It should tell the iPod not to start doing anything until you want to move files. I had the same problem you did where all my music was being moved and deleted and it drove me nuts. This should help.

I just bought an iRiver for $237, hopefully it'll be great and I can give it as a present. thanks btw, where can we buy extra batteries? I was looking at zdnet, and the review said we should probably get extra battery, but looking at iriver's webpage, I could only find an accessory battery for another product.

i like the creative little device thing with the LCD and it has a PMD so you can store movies and mp3s on it, my friend has one and it's really cool

also if you're worried about the iPod battery, then you can buy a 3 year extended warranty since the battery normally doesn't work well after 18 months

Uno question, I am also considering getting an ipod soon and I was wondering if you guys could suggest anything, like which version I should get; what mistakes not to make if I should happen to purchase; etc. Thanks! :)

I have a H120. Its under warranty for a broken headphone jack (thank god for the line out or i'd have gone insane) and I intend to get a gen 5 oe 6 ipod. dont get shuffle or mini. theres just not enough room. If mini goes up to 10 gigs that'd be ok, but i think i will get a 20 or 30 GB ipod, prefferably with a color screen, before cornell. the H120 is hard to navigate with. the features are nice, but the ipods beautiful simplicity is unparalleled. the scroll wheel is great.

Get the iRiver H10. It's pretty sick, especially the red color.
