i saw it today and it was very impressive. i bring it up because it is the second movie to feature USAF’s F-22, right after Transformers- the raptors took off from langley and everything. yes, i perceived the movie and the chase scene quite accurate to the aircraft’s capabilities, and am happy America can see it too. again, i thought the raptor installment to be purely INTERESTING and i dispassionately approve of it ;)

Actually, for those that didn't know, Iron Man featured real Air Force personnel as a lot of the extras.

I saw it last night. Another good AF propaganda movie. :) ;) I was pleasantly surprised at how good the movie was!

Yeah it was a good flick... although i gotta imagine the pilot would notice some odd handling characteristics when he was hanging on the underside of the plane...

My kids are all going to see it tomorrow after their last college final! A reward. DD reports it is the 2nd biggest movie opening ever, $105 million in opening weekend (movie cost $186 mil to make, also reports DD, who KNOWS such things.).

Shark: how's the arm?

Speaking of movies, did they ever finish or release this movie? All I have seen on the website is the trailer, which I believe was in production over a year ago. Supposedly the movie was to show what it is like to be a cadet at the Air Force Academy. Trailer looks great, but then website has never been updated.

Wings of Honor: The Heart and Soul of the United States Air Force Academy

Anyone have any more info on this????

Oh wow... Wings of Honor seems very impressive! Saw the trailer but couldn't find out when if was due out.

I haven't heard anything about that recently, but I did just see that the other movie that was supposed to begin filming here soon, Bring Me Men, was delayed for a year due to a lack of funding.

I suspect they might be waiting till 08 graduates. I know WOH follows Tiger Ten (my squad!) starting when 08 were 4 digs. So, maybe if there's anything that could get someone in a bit o' trouble, they may be delaying it.

I haven't heard any dates yet. The last update (AFAIK) was a new brochure in Nov 07.

Saw Iron Man last night, and for once, I didn't fall asleep in a movie! Wow!
It wasn't even horrible! A ringing endorsement, that.
