Is 2190 SAT worth retaking or should I retake Subject Tests?

Just today, I received a few Subject Tests for Chemistry, Physics, and U. S. History. Unfortunately, the scores were very mediocre: 760 in Chem, 670 in Physics, and 770 in U. S. History. Blanking out during all three tests, I had to leave so many questions unanswered.
I am aware that I have one more chance in October to take the test if I want to apply early to any private college campuses us has Stanford or MIT, but I initially had plans to take the SAT one more time to significantly improve from last score of 2190 (670 CR, 750 Math, 770 Writing). I am really considering to use that last window of testing opportunity to retake certain subject test and instead rely on my ACT score to bolster my application (36 Composite, 35 English, 35 Math, 36 Reading, 36 Science).

I was wondering if you could help me make a decision. Should I use the October testing date to improve my SAT score or my Subject Test scores? Is it better just to wait and apply through regular admission, in order to have more testing opportunities? Which tests house I take?

What is mediocre about those scores?

Your ACT scores are flawless so go with those then you may not even need SAT 2s. Check the schools to which you are applying. Some dont require SAT 2s if you are submitting ACTs.

Use your perfect ACT score. Better chances, save more money. -_-

How is a 700+ “mediocre” for any subject test?

Yeah just rely on your ACT, most colleges view SAT and ACT as practically the same thing anyways. Also, your subject test scores aren’t abyssmal either, anything over 700+ is practically great. But I would just take the SAT Subject Test if you truly want to.
