Above Question

Good enough for what?

Even for the Ivy League schools, that’s not bad. The determining factor is usually not grades, though.

Yea for top 20 schools.

Weighted or unweighted? If it’s unweighted, I’d say it’s alright for top schools.

A GPA means nothing without a class rank. If you are an unhooked applicant that is not in the top 5% of your class, you have a very small chance of a top school.

That’s not to say it won’t get you to a good school regardless, but we can’t evaluate it accurately without context. For example, an 93 average at a top boarding school is at the * very * top of the class, while at a generic public school it could be 20th percentile.

I think it is a great GPA weighted or unweighted. You will go far in life with a GPA of that caliber. Keep up the good work!

What is 93 on the 4 point scale? Im alway really confused bc everyone converts to the 4 point scale differently

@drmom Why do you say that? You and I and everyone here besides the OP know nothing about how rigorous the school OP attends, how strong a 93 GPA is there, whethandnhe school has grade inflation and where that GPA places op in his/her class. As alwaysleah said, if that GPA places op outside the top 5%, then it is not impressive and effectively kills chances at top schools, if unhooked. If a 93 places OP in the top 5% or first, then OP is set for any college.
