Is Amherst/Boston famous for any type of food? Ideas for souveniers aside from memora

<p>I went to Vermont and brought back some awesome maple-sugared walnuts and have requests for more regional foods. :)</p>

<p>We find people appreciate the little jugs of real maple syrup, and while a bit pricey per souvenir, they at least come in plastic containers with pictures from the syrup industry. The containers survive a trip home.</p>
